What new compact digital camera should I look at?

I am looking for a new very compact camera that takes very good pictures in low light. What ones do you recommend. I want a decent zoom on it.

What is VGA and the ND Filter? Does pictures taken with high ISO or low do better in the lower light?

Thanks!

Continuing the “Compact or DSLR?” camera video. Part 1 is here: www.youtube.com Part 2 is here: www.youtube.com This video is for anyone with a compact digital camera who wonders why they are not getting the photos they want to take, and also for those considering the move to a DSLR or bridge camera who are not yet convinced. This third part mentions some things I forgot about focal length, lenses, and the effect of aperture blades on bokeh. I then go on to talk about the kinds of accessories you can use with DSLR cameras. – Lensbaby web site: – www.lensbaby.com – Adobe Photoshop short-cut key set: – www.amazon.co.uk – Canon Ef-D focusing screen: – www.amazon.co.uk
